Retreat Venue Hire

The beautiful retreat venue of Karuna Dartmoor is located in Natsworthy Manor, which dates back to the Doomsday Book. The breathtaking wildness and beauty of Dartmoor National Park surrounds us. Karuna Dartmoor is an ideal venue for Mind and Body Retreats, the venue facilities lend themselves particularly to Yoga Retreats, Meditation Courses and Holistic Therapy, as well as Counselling and Psychotherapy retreats. We also welcome bookings from groups that are oriented to other contemplative practices.

Retreat Facilities

In the main building, we have seven spacious bedrooms that can accommodate up to 24 guests, a dining room, library, staffroom and kitchen. Outside is the beautiful purpose-built meditation room. We have wood-burning fires and open fires along with central heating. We are surrounded by gardens, which in turn are embraced by Dartmoor. Please browse our photo gallery below.

Venue Hire Catering

Most of our produce is organic. The hire will include lunch and dinner, and a self-serve breakfast. Our meals are vegetarian and prepared by our wonderful chef. All our water is fed by a spring and then filtered.

We can provide wheat-free and dairy-free or vegan options, but please inform us as soon as possible before your stay. If you have very specific dietary needs, consider bringing any items you might need to supplement the provided meals.

Please note that Karuna Dartmoor is alcohol-free and does not allow non-prescribed drugs.

Hire Karuna Dartmoor

Karuna Dartmoor has a depth of silence and safety established by generations of those who come on retreats and courses for self-enquiry, counselling and psychotherapy, to heal and replenish. We also receive a lot of yoga retreat bookings. The holding of the vastness of the wilderness of Dartmoor that rests on granite, igneous rock, is profound. Retreat Group Bookings

We usually ask for groups between 15 people minimum and 24 maximum for a minimum of five days.
